Webinar: Diverse Student Populations: Obstacles Before and During COVID-19

Updated: Aug 25, 2020

As campuses make radical changes to their instructional environment for the fall semester, colleges and universities must also prepare to engage with a very different student than left their campuses in the early spring.Given the effects of COVID-19, urgent racial and social justice discourses, and stricter immigration policy, historically marginalized groups (students of color, LGBTQ, immigrant and international communities) are experiencing diminishing access and opportunity even more than other student populations in higher ed. Campus leaders must be ready - in the midst of implementing their return-to-class plans - to adapt and improve their dialogue with, and ally-ship for, diverse student populations.

Join us as our panel of Higher Ed thought leaders discusses how the perspectives of all students and especially the voices of Black, LatinX, LGBTQ, and immigrant and international students can and must be elevated by campus leaders this fall and beyond.
